Just a not of “thanks” for your assistance on my request for a letter from you. Even if I don’t get this job, I’ve go enough confidence in myself now to go after others! I don’t know if you say “People” magazine’s 7/21/97 issue, but there is an article in it about actor Mandy Patinken’s bout with keratoconus. Thought you might be interested in reading it. I’ve highlighted passages which seemed like “deja vu” to me. He expressed similar feelings to mine. Additionally, since I think I’m a “success story”, please feel free to contact me if another of your patients with keratoconus needs and ear or some support from me. Many thanks for getting me thus far (11+ mos. post-op). I can’t believe how well I can see!
